The New York Mets activated right-hander Christian Scott from the 15-day injured list in advance of his start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday.
Scott, 27, has not pitched since June 11 because of a right hip impingement.
The Mets opened a roster spot when left-hander Zach Thornton was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse late Friday.
In nine starts this season, Scott is 2-0 with a 3.10 ERA after he went 0-3 with a 4.56 ERA in nine starts as a rookie in 2024. He missed all of 2025 following Tommy John surgery.
Thornton, 24, made his major league debut on May 20 and was 0-1 with a 4.35 ERA in two starts.
