• Was not ranked among the 2026 ESPN top 100 since he did not play high school basketball in 2025-26, but his ESPN scouting grade of 95 would have placed him among the top five high school recruits in the nation.
• Rivals/On3 Industry ranks him a four-star, the #15 prospect in the country and #2 power forward in the 2026 class.
FINLAND NATIONAL TEAM
• Named as the first ever FIBA EuroBasket Rising Star award winner after helping Finland to a historic fourth place finish at the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Championship … Averaged 6.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in eight games … Played 12 minutes with nine points as Finland upset a Nikola Jokic-led Serbia team 92-86 in the Round of 16 … Team lost, 92-89, to a Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Greece team in the third-place game with Muurinen playing 10 minutes and scoring five points … Had 12 points versus Germany in the semifinal … Pulled down four rebounds versus Great Britain in the second game of pool play … Blocked four shots in the fourth game of pool play versus Lithuania.
• Also played for Finland at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers, 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament Spain and 2023 U16 Euro Championship A.
2025-26:
• Played with Partizan KK, a club competing in the EuroLeague and the ABA League (Adriatic League) … Debuted in an ABA League game on Oct. 6 in a win against Krka, recording seven points, two rebounds, two assists and one block in 17 minutes … In one of his final games with Partizan KK (Dec. 28, 2025), scored a season-best 10 points vs KK Split in an ABA game.
• Overall, played in 14 games with Partizan KK – 8 in ABA and 6 in EuroLeague games … Scored 33 points with 23 rebounds in ABA games and scored 1 point in EuroLeague games.
• Left Partizan in late-February 2026 to pursue playing collegiately in the NCAA.
High School:
• Played at AZ Compass Prep (Arizona) for his junior season (2024-25).
• As a sophomore (2023-24), moved to the United States and played at Sunrise Christian Academy (Kansas).
• In the summer of 2024, played for Bradley Beal U16 Elite and won the Nike EYBL Peach Jam tournament, scoring 21 points in the final.
