FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The league office announced Monday morning that Arkansas sophomore offensive lineman Kash Courtney was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after his performance in the Razorbacks’ 31-21 victory over Vanderbilt last Saturday.
Courtney led the way up front during the Hogs’ first SEC victory of the season. In his first start of the season, the Carthage, Texas, product helped Arkansas rack up 438 yards of total offense, the most against an SEC opponent this season. The Razorbacks also rushed for a season-high 187 yards, their most since a 188-yard performance on Nov. 22, 2025 at Texas. Courtney and the Hogs’ offensive line also did not allow a single sack in the win. It marked the first time Arkansas has gone a game without allowing a sack since they did so at Ole Miss on Sept. 13, 2025. Entering the matchup, Vanderbilt had registered a sack in 10 consecutive games dating back to Nov. 25, 2025.
With his selection, Courtney became the 17th Razorback offensive lineman to earn SEC weekly honors in program history and the first since Fernando Carmona on Oct. 7, 2024.
Arkansas enters its Bye Week after a 31-21 win at Vanderbilt last Saturday. The Razorbacks return to the friendly confines of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Oct. 31 when they host Missouri. Kickoff time against the Tigers has yet to be announced.
