Javian Osborne, a four-star recruit and one of the top running back prospects in the country, announced his commitment to play for Notre Dame on Saturday.Osborne, a 5-foot-100, 200-pound back from Forney, Texas, is ranked as the No. 6 running back in the country and No. 12 overall prospect in Texas, according to the 247Sports composite.”They’re known for running the ball and Notre Dame is O-line U,” Osborne told ESPN. “They have a lot of great guys that went there and went to the NFL. What running back wouldn’t want to be part of a program that breeds offensive linemen?”In three seasons at Forney High School, Osborne has amassed 4,522 rushing yards and 72 touchdowns on the ground. In his impressive sophomore campaign, he rushed for 2,231 yards and 39 touchdowns in 2023. Last season, he scored 25 rushing touchdowns and compiled 1,227 yards.
