FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Athletics Department began unwinding its relationship with Blueprint Sports following the House v. NCAA settlement earlier this year and will officially end the relationship October 15. Blueprint Sports has been the managing company of Arkansas Edge – Arkansas’s official collective – since November 2023.
On July 1, 2025, in conjunction with new NCAA legislation and permissible rules associated with the House Settlement and student-athlete revenue sharing policies, Arkansas Athletics assumed all name, image and likeness agreements with Razorback student-athletes that were previously executed by Blueprint Sports (Arkansas Edge). Since that time, the two parties have explored future opportunities to work together, but a clear solution never developed.
As the new era of college athletics has evolved, Arkansas Athletics’ focus on securing NIL opportunities for student-athletes has transitioned successfully to the Front Office and the new Director of NIL Strategy. Additionally, multimedia rights partner Learfield (Razorback Sports Properties) continues to support the department by engaging companies for NIL opportunities for student-athletes.
The efforts of the Arkansas Edge staff and support from members over the past two years is greatly appreciated and filled an important role for the success of Arkansas Athletics. However, there is a different path forward in the new era of college athletics, that is in the best interest for the sustained success of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
