First name is JaShawn, combining his mother’s name (Janetta) and his father’s name (Shawn) … His father, Shawn, is a Camden (Fairview HS) native and is one of the most decorated Razorbacks, playing offensive line for Arkansas from 2001-03 … He won the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy twice (2002 and 2003) and was a finalist for both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy in 2003 … He was a unanimous first team All-America in 2003 and consensus first team All-America in 2002 … He was inducted into the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor in 2009 and the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2018 … He had a seven-year career in the NFL. He earned first team All-Pro in 2006 and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection (2006 and 2007) … He is on the Philadelphia Eagles 75th Anniversary Team … His mother, the former Janetta Heggins, played basketball at Western Carolina.
