FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas Razorbacks will open the 2030 season against Texas Tech in the Vegas Kickoff Classic at Allegiant Stadium – the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Hogs beat the Red Raiders in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to cap the 2024 season after spending over 30 years as conference foes in the old Southwest Conference. The game in Las Vegas will be an addition to the home-and-home series the two programs previously scheduled. Arkansas and Texas Tech were scheduled to meet in Lubbock in 2030 and in Fayetteville in 2031. The two teams will now meet in Lubbock as part of the 2034 season.
The 2030 Vegas Kickoff Classic is set for Labor Day weekend (August 29 – September 1) and will be nationally televised on ABC or an ESPN platform with details announced at a later date.
The Hogs’ matchup in 2030 is one of five scheduled games as part of the Vegas Kickoff Classic with BYU vs. Oregon State in 2028 joining matchups set for 2027 between Miami and Utah and North Dakota State and Montana State along with a 2029 game featuring Montana and South Dakota State.
